Own what you know—not just what you do.

I spent over 25 years as a licensed Financial Advisor at a major corporate firm, where compliance rules meant I could never actually discuss advice online. Now, as a formerly licensed advisor, I'm free to say all of it — on a podcast and in a book I've written. I've also turned the insurance side of my business into a full online agency. The book and podcast feed each other, and the podcast alone has become my best lead magnet — I no longer spend a dime buying leads. That's all part of my Builder Plan, and there's more of it I plan to build out over time. If you've ever wanted to run your own shop, this is the path.

As a creative, I've done a lot of artsy things over the years, but I never knew how to organize them so one thing built on the next — and as a result, experienced a lot of lean financial times. Now I can work from anywhere in the world — and that's entirely because of my Builder System. I have an apparel line showcasing my designs, a podcast that teaches others how to create and sell their own products, and a handful of e-books with step-by-step instructions — all of it grew out of that one system. I'm making more money monthly than I ever did before I had that organizing piece in place.

I've genuinely bounced around for years — different industries, different jobs, everything from entry-level construction to retail clerk. What I never realized was that the thread running through all of it was me figuring out better ways to do things. I'm actually great at developing processes — I just never saw it as a skill until I started digging into who I am through the Builder Path Quiz. Now I run a small firm that reviews companies' processes and writes their SOPs. I never would have landed on that without it.

I started my career as a tax attorney and later earned my CPA, spending decades building a successful corporate career. But over time, legacy became more important than another promotion or paycheck. Unfortunately, careers aren't inherited. My Builder Translation Analysis showed me another way. Instead of passing down my position, I could pass down what I know. It helped me transform the knowledge I'd spent years using with clients into digital assets and automated systems that keep working whether I'm at my desk or not. Two of my children share my interest and can step right in. Even my son, who's an artist, has a foundation he can build on and eventually pass to his own children. And because we're no longer tied to the traditional rat race, we can travel while managing our family business from anywhere in the world. That's the legacy I wanted to leave.
